The classics are the best, I've watched some of the more recent zombie related films, and didn't really care for them (except Shaun of the dead, but that's more comedy than horror). I grew up watching the classics, so they have a special place in my heart, and my younger zombie infested nightmares
... Yay! ....

they just had the classic 1969 zombie movie on tv here

I've been using it a while now, but thanks anyway. it comes from my love of all things zombie related, and the fact that they are meant to be feared, but end up being laughed at because they are pretty useless, unless in huge numbers.
